Aubaine Blog

Aubaine loves food !

16th of June 2013, AUBAINE POP UP DAY

This year Aubaine will open on Marylebone High Street. When exactly ? We hope September 2013. As the restaurant was not opened yet Aubaine decided to POP UP during the Marylebone Summer Fayre 2013. This Fayre happens every year since 2007, and aim to raise funds for the Children Charity : The Kids Company.

The Kids Company was founded by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996 to provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children. The charity’s services reach 17,000 of the most deprived and at risk children across London, including the most deprived and at risk.

The pop up location was on  Moxon Street (where the restaurant will open next September). Aubaine proposed to all the visitors of this fabulous fair a selection of fresh burgers and pastries : salmon, chicken and beef burgers but also éclairs and viennoiseries. YUMMY !

Kids and families where pleased to taste our food and also very exited about the future opening. From 10am to 5pm Aubaine staff worked hard to contribute to the charity as percentage of our benefits of the day was ment to be donated to the KIDS COMPANY.

At the end of the day a lucky one won (at the Tombola) a voucher valid for a dinner for four people at Aubaine Marylebone !! What a day !!!!

We really enjoyed being part of the Marylebone community and also contribute to help KIDS by supporting the KIDS COMPANY.

See you soon on Moxon Street and of course next year at the Marylebone Summer Fayre !!

What bloggers say about us
The food, wine and service were utterly faultless and as for the interior… I want my whole house to look like that! While you won’t find Aubaine everywhere (it’s not Pizza Express people) there are a fair few all over London. So next time you’re in town, I’d highly recommend getting yourself to the nearest one… and ordering the Sea Bass.
