The RHS Chelsea Flower Show
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show brought glamour and delight to London this week, and we at Aubaine have loved every minute of it!
Edible flowers were our ingredient of the week and our special Flower Power tart has been available in all our restaurants. Exquisitely made by our head pastry chef Seb, the tart consisted of sweet pastry with elderflower sponge biscuit base filled with lime, lemon and elderflower cream and topped with fresh strawberries, raspberries and edible flowers.
We also held a Flower Power dinner in Hampstead with a special menu designed to use edible flowers and seasonal Spring ingredients for a fresh, unique taste. Dishes included asparagus and confit tomato tart with rocket and elderflower dressing and egg mimosa with lavender mayonnaise with a jersey royal salad. Yum!
