A weekend in London with Aubaine, treat yourself !

London City is amazing, cosmopolite and full of surprises. The good thing is that Aubaine is located in Central London and in lovely neighbourhoods like Wimbledon or Hampstead. I decided to create what I call ''a perfect itinerary for your sunny June weekends in London''. As summer is back (hopefully for good ?) you will desperately need to enjoy the sun until it goes down, and terraces where you can chill without standing up and being pushed by the crowd are very hard to find !! I know that for some of you chilling under the sun could also mean boring, so decided to add a bit of culture to this itinerary.

DAY 1 - Until June 9th London celebrates the Chelsea Fringe, famous celebration of crazy flower shows and magnificent gardens. The program of this week, which is actually WEEK 3, the last week of the Fringe, offers a large range of events and exhibitions : it would be worth having lunch on Aubaine's terrace before taking a green shot during the afternoon. All the details of this week's events are on the Fringe website (

On my side I decided to attend Squint and The Balcony Gardener present 'A Museum of Terrariums' , I'll share my experience in a next post. Can't wait !!

DAY 2 - Wimbledon for the day, mixing food and tennis sounds amazing no ? Make sure you have your tickets to the tennis and hop off at Wimbledon station to wander around on the high street for a bit of shopping and stop at Aubaine's hidden terrace to enjoy a perfect meal and dessert before enjoying hours of sport under the sun.

Don't have tickets yet, but hope to find some before the tennis starts, and if I don't I will fore

sure stay long hours on the terrace working on my tan !!

Have a lovely week,

Mrs O'bain

What bloggers say about us
The food, wine and service were utterly faultless and as for the interior… I want my whole house to look like that! While you won’t find Aubaine everywhere (it’s not Pizza Express people) there are a fair few all over London. So next time you’re in town, I’d highly recommend getting yourself to the nearest one… and ordering the Sea Bass.
