I can’t live without music...Can you?

For me, the best way to avoid stress or just unwind after a busy working day is playing my favourite songs either on my Ipod or at home. Everyday while leaving the house as I put earplugs then get on the tube and start smiling thinking of a tune I like, a tune that reminds me good memories…

When I feel a bit down, playing lively and funky songs makes me feel so much better! It literally makes my day!

The music I choose to listen really depends on the mood I am in …For an energetic morning I always listen to C2C, an amazing group of young French Dj’s with funky beats, they’re EP is great and the track  “Down the road” will make you happy for sure!

I also highly recommend “This head I hold” from the famous Electric Guest or the old school Sam & Dave singing the well known  “Hold on! I’m Coming”.

For a French swing  night with friends, drinks and good food , I would suggest Parov Stelar with “Coco Pt 1&2” or “The Paris Swing Box” (EP).

Finally when I really need to lay back and relax and think my next holiday I play Metronomy or Bonobo (albums “the English Riviera”, “Black Sands”).

Can’t choose which track you’d like to listen?  And fancy a really good mix of various trendy artists? Check the Itunes store, buy the compilation “Nova Tunes2.3, 2.6… and just enjoy!

MUSIC IS LIFE!!!

The food, wine and service were utterly faultless and as for the interior… I want my whole house to look like that! While you won’t find Aubaine everywhere (it’s not Pizza Express people) there are a fair few all over London. So next time you’re in town, I’d highly recommend getting yourself to the nearest one… and ordering the Sea Bass.
