We’re delighted to announce that throughout September and October, we’ll be taking part in Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food campaign. Along with a whole host of London’s favourite restaurants, we’ll be raising funds to help support this amazing cause and save the lives of malnourished children worldwide.
Action Against Hunger is an international non-profit organisation set up to free children and their families from hunger by providing short-term therapeutic treatment and developing long-term solutions to provide communities with food security, sanitation and education. With over 8,000 support workers, they have now helped over 14.7 million people in 50 countries worldwide including war-torn Syria and Yemen. Those numbers are astounding but they couldn’t do what they do without generous donations and support from activities such Love Food Give Food.
The campaign was set up by the charity over 20 years ago in order to unite food lovers to help raise funds for Action Against Hunger’s incredible development work across the globe. In 2017, over 400 restaurants helped to raise £600,000 for the cause ‐ we can’t wait to take part this year and help them beat last year’s total!
We’ll be adding a voluntary £1 donation to all table bills throughout September and October, and will be raising awareness of the campaign wherever we can. We’re hopeful that this will make a real difference and want to thank you for your support and for helping us to work towards achieving Action Against Hunger’s vision of a world free from hunger.
